Conference Language

Please be informed that the conference language is English. Interpretation into French will be provided in all plenary segments and in one of the simultaneous breakout sessions (in both slots A and B). For technical reasons, unfortunately it will not be possible to provide interpretation in all breakout sessions.

Breakout Sessions

On the second day (27 Sep), you will have the opportunity to participate in two breakout sessions. Please indicate your preferences for both slots below. Even if we will do our best to take into consideration your wishes, we cannot guarantee that you will be able to participate in both priority-1-sessions due to the limited capacities of the rooms.

Your personal data will be stored and processed by GIZ GmbH and its subcontractor for the purpose of preparing and holding the event for which you register, and will be forwarded to the hosting organisations: Federal Foreign Office and, if applicable, the cooperation partners mentioned in the invitation. The legal basis for this is Article 6(1) b of the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).

Furthermore, your data will then be stored and processed in order to provide information about future events. The legal basis for this is Article 6(1) e of the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).

Declaration of Consent

I agree that the list of participants, which contains my name, function and institution, may be made available to the other participants.
I agree that my contact data be stored by GIZ for 24 months with the purpose of the organisation of follow-up activities to which I could be invited.
I agree that photographs may be taken during the event for public relations purposes of the Federal Foreign Office and Stabilisation Platform.

You have the right to ask for your personal data, to have them rectified if they are incorrect or to demand the restriction of processing or the deletion of the data. The data will be deleted if there are no legal retention periods for it. The permission granted to use the personal data can also be revoked at any time. The lawfulness of the processing up to the time of the revocation is not affected by this. Please send the revocation by email to: datenschutzbeauftragter@giz.de.
Unfortunately, participation is not possible if all personal data are deleted before the start of the event.
